LIC Assistant Recruitment-2023

What is the LIC Assistant exam?

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) holds an online recruitment exam once per year for the position of LIC Assistant. Those who are successful in the exam go on to work in various offices of the Life Insurance Corporation of India as cashiers, single-window operators, customer service executives, and in other clerical services.

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern- Prelims

There will be 3 sections in the Written Exam, namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude

Total Duration of the written exam – 1 hour

Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern- Mains

After qualifying for Preliminary Exam, candidates would be appearing for the LIC Mains exam. The Main Exam Pattern of LIC Assistant is given.

The main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks.
The objective test will be conducted in online mode.
There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination
The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
Qualification of the Preliminary exam is essential to appear for Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added to the marks of Mains for selection.
Thus, the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).

LIC AAO is one of the Reputed Examination that is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation of India in the insurance sector. It is one of the fastest-growing insurance sectors. Aspirants who want to make their career in the insurance sector can apply for the post of LIC AAO.

LIC AAO Age limit:

The candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to different categories.

LIC AAO Exam Pattern: Mains Examination

LIC AAO Mains exam is conducted to select candidates for the interview process.
LIC AAO Mains exam pattern is different for the different posts of AAO – IT, Chartered Accountant, Actuarial, Rajbhasha, and Legal.
The Main exam for these posts has both objective and descriptive sections and both are conducted in the online mode.
The descriptive test will be conducted immediately after the objective exam is over.

LIC ADO: Apprentice Development Officer

What is the LIC ADO Exam?

LIC is the most reputed government-owned insurance company in India. The full form of LIC ADO is Life Insurance Corporation of India – Apprentice Development Officer. A national-level exam is conducted by Life Insurance Corporation to recruit suitable candidates for the post of Apprentice Development Officer.

LIC ADO Selection Process

The candidates who clear their Prelims and Mains exams get to the interview stage. Candidates selected from the interview have to go through the following procedure:

LIC ADO Guarantee Bond

This is an undertaking signed before joining as the LIC Apprentice Development Officer by the candidate to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including apprenticeship period)

LIC ADO Apprenticeship Period

The newly appointed Apprentice Development Officer needs to undergo theoretical and field sales training.

LIC ADO Probation

The ADO who successfully completes the apprenticeship is suitable for appointment to the service of the LIC as a Development Officer and may be placed on probation. The period of probation is of 1 year and can be extended up to two years.
